What I did over the summer: : Over the summer I worked at Canadian Tire in their Quality Assurance department.

Plans after graduation: : My plans after graduation include obtaining my CA and starting my own company. I also want to get more involved with investments and stocks.

Most memorable moment at TRSM: My most memorable moment so far at TRSM was the three day case competition, ACHIEVE, hosted by RUAS.

If I were a first year student again, I would…: If I were a first year student again, I would get to know my professors on a personal level and stay in touch with them because it’s very helpful in the future.

What I did over the summer: : I worked part – time, and completed liberal courses towards my degree. Also, together with Competition team we were working on acquiring prices for different venues for this year ACHIEVE competition.

Plans after graduation: : I am planning to obtain the position in Deloitte, or if unsuccessful pursue my CMA designation.

Most memorable moment at TRSM: First year CA event, when I met graduates who inspired me to pursue this designation.

If I were a first year student again, I would…: Attend more student clubs and become and gain more leadership experience

What I did over the summer: : Overworked myself to the point I was never exposed to a beam of sunlight for the first 3 months, and then travelled for the last one. Definitely worth it.

Plans after graduation: : Start my career off as an accountant, get my CA designation, start my own business, and win the lottery.

Most memorable moment at TRSM: There’s never a moment that’s not memorable at TRSM, but one day that really stuck out was the first – registration. So many people in one room!!!…. All who turned out to be horrible students, but GREAT people.

If I were a first year student again, I would…: Attend Frosh!!!! I opted out on this event. Biggest regret of my university life.

What I did over the summer: : I took two classes over the summer, acc414 and cmn279, and worked 30 hours per week at a garden center. I spent free time seeing friends and playing basketball.

Plans after graduation: : I really would like to take some time off to travel right after graduation if possible. Then I wish to attain my CA designation and pursue a career in accounting.

Most memorable moment at TRSM: Having Eric Kam as my professor for intro. micro economics in my first year at TRSM. A great professor with an unforgettable sense of humour. It was easy to pay attention to him despite being a 3 hour lecture at 8:00am.

If I were a first year student again, I would…: Live on residence. I heard great things and feel I missed out on it by living at home and commuting.

What I did over the summer: : I enjoyed my summer spending time with family and friends, as well as studying for two courses I enrolled in through the Chang School. My summertime highlights were competing in various regattas with the Ryerson Dragon boat Team.

Plans after graduation: : After completing my undergraduate, I look forward to furthering my education by pursing a Chartered Accountants’ designation. I plan to achieve this through working hard in one of the Big Four accounting firms.

Most memorable moment at TRSM: My most memorable moment was the weekend of Ted Rogers Management Conference. It was an inspirational weekend filled with great keynote speakers and amazing delegates

If I were a first year student again, I would…: Do everything exactly the way I did it the first time. As well as encourage fellow students to par take in school spirited activities and events because of the great life experiences and opportunities it brings.

What I did over the summer: : I worked at Dempsey Corporation, a chemical and food distributor in the AR/AP department.

Plans after graduation: : I intend to pursue my CA (CPA) designation, hopefully through working at one of the larger accounting firms.

Most memorable moment at TRSM: My most memorable moment at TRSM is during my first time at RCS Frosh, and spraining my ankle during a dance off to win a rap battle.

If I were a first year student again, I would…: Listen to the advice given to me by people in the later years of university more.

What I did over the summer: : I spent my summer working at the Toronto Pearson Airport. I was fortunate enough to be able to meet many different people from many different places. This experience has definitely made the world feel like a smaller place, although I did not do any travelling I felt like I’ve seen the world.

Plans after graduation: : I hope to work for an accounting firm so that I can work towards obtaining a CA designation.

Most memorable moment at TRSM: The day I realized that I had selected the right school and program. You have to love what you do, or there’s no point in doing it.

If I were a first year again, I would…: Get more involved with the university.
