Attire

RUAS believes that in a professional business environment, professional business etiquettes are vital. As such, we have provided a comprehensive coverage of etiquette on our website that will give Ryerson’s accounting students an advantage in the competitive business world.
At the very least, all of our events are Business Casual – There is a Strict Mandatory Business Professional (Formal Business) for any events where recruiters or employers are present such as ABCs of Networking, Alumni Gala, ACHIEVE, Industry Night & CA Night
- Wearing a sweater without a jacket is not “Business Professional” nor is wearing oversized sweaters from “High Fashion” stores like H&M for this category
- Tube/White Socks is unacceptable for any office attire, even if you think they won’t be seen
We have put in place our Dress Code to showcase the bright and very capable students of Ted Rogers School of Management, therefore, we reserve the right to refuse access, and refuse ticket refund for anyone who does not meet our Dress Code for the specified event.
